Authenticated dashboard and Partner API access is scoped to the organisation. Project, application, and candidate lookups check the current organisation.
Key lifecycle
Partner API authentication checks hashed key values and revoked or expired key state. Rate limits help control request volume.
Private files
Uploaded files use private storage. Recording downloads use private, no-store responses.
Signed events
Webhook integrations include signing checks and public HTTPS target restrictions.

Account and organisation
WorkOS account data can include user identifiers, email, organisation, and role metadata.
Recruitment and candidate
Projects, job descriptions, pipeline steps, invitations, application status, screening answers, task submissions, interview metadata, CVs, and profile data.
Operations and billing
Request IDs, rate-limit events, usage, webhook delivery status, and billing records help run and support the service.
When AI is involved
Configured AI providers may process role briefs, candidate answers, and submitted work to generate content or evaluate applications when requested. Your team reviews the output and makes the hiring decision.

Provide candidate notices and a lawful basis for processing, obtain consent where required, and control who can access your workspace. Keep credentials secure and review AI-assisted output before making a decision.
For recruiter-controlled candidate data, your company is generally the controller. Avoid irrelevant or special-category personal data without the necessary basis and agreement coverage.
tview
We operate the service, process recruitment data under the applicable terms and customer instructions, and support verified export and deletion requests. Retention follows the applicable data processing terms.
